Devops Engineer
Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining secure, high‑availability network and server environments using Windows, Linux, VMware, and cloud platforms.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage enterprise‑grade network and server infrastructure across on‑prem and cloud environments.
- Configure and maintain Windows Server and Linux systems, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Deploy and manage virtualized workloads using VMware and container technologies.
- Implement and monitor security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
- Automate routine tasks with PowerShell and Bash scripts, improving reliability and reducing manual effort.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support application deployments and troubleshoot complex incidents.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure engineering.
- Proficiency with Windows Server, Linux, VMware, and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
- Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, routing, switching).
- Experience with security best practices and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent scripting skills in PowerShell and Bash.
