About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and execute modernization of the Air Operations Center (AOC) weapon system, focusing on hybrid cloud, data, and application ecosystems.
- Develop and maintain technical roadmaps aligned with AOC warfighter architectures and emerging technologies.
- Lead automation initiatives and infrastructure as code practices to improve deployment speed and reliability.
- Collaborate with security, operations, and engineering teams to ensure resilient, secure, and compliant infrastructure.
- Guide the evolution of enterprise‑scale C2 infrastructure, ensuring scalability, performance, and mission readiness.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure architecture, with a focus on defense or mission‑critical systems.
- Proven expertise in hybrid cloud design, migration, and management (AWS, Azure, or equivalent).
- Strong background in automation, orchestration, and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
- Deep understanding of security principles, compliance, and risk management in high‑assurance environments.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to lead cross‑functional teams.
