Security Engineer
IT Infrastructure & Security Engineer responsible for user support, network engineering, and security operations, including hardware/software troubleshooting, VM provisioning, and Azure/Office 365 administration.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network incidents across the organization.
- Build, rebuild, and configure physical workstations and virtual machines, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with security standards.
- Administer Office 365 and Azure tenants, handling user provisioning, group management, licensing, and policy enforcement.
- Monitor and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and VPN connections, to guarantee reliable connectivity.
- Implement and manage security controls such as endpoint protection, patch management, and intrusion detection to safeguard the environment.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in IT support, network engineering, or security operations.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Azure services, and Office 365 administration.
- Hands‑on experience with virtualization platforms (e.g., Hyper‑V, VMware) and VM lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with networking concepts, firewalls, VPNs, and basic routing/switching.
- Ability to script or automate tasks using PowerShell or similar tools is a plus.
