Devops Engineer
Design, implement, and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure with a strong focus on security controls, resilience, and compliance using Windows, Linux, VMware, and Azure technologies.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage Windows and Linux server environments, virtualisation platforms (VMware) and cloud services (Azure).
- Implement and maintain networking components, firewalls, and load‑balancing solutions to ensure high availability and performance.
- Apply security best practices, conduct vulnerability assessments, and enforce ISO 27001 and GDPR‑aligned controls across the infrastructure.
- Provide day‑to‑day operational support, incident response, and root‑cause analysis for infrastructure and security issues.
- Collaborate on projects, audits, and continuous‑improvement initiatives, delivering documentation and recommendations.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure engineering with Windows Server, Linux, and VMware.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure, and scripting/automation using PowerShell or similar.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPN) and security frameworks (ISO 27001, GDPR).
- Hands‑on experience with monitoring, backup, and disaster‑recovery solutions.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently and within a team.
