Software Engineer
Lead the development of AI‑driven insurance automation tools using Python, ML, and AWS, driving efficiency and accuracy for brokerages through advanced data engineering and NLP solutions.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable AI pipelines for quote comparison, coverage analysis, and policy review using Python and AWS services.
- Implement NLP models to extract insights from dense insurance documents and generate source‑cited proposals.
- Collaborate with data scientists to integrate machine learning models into production workflows, ensuring high accuracy and low latency.
- Optimize data ingestion, storage, and processing pipelines for large volumes of structured and unstructured insurance data.
- Ensure compliance with SOC 2 Type II standards, perform security reviews, and maintain single‑tenant architecture.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on AI/ML and cloud platforms.
- Proficiency in Python, AWS (Lambda, S3, Redshift, SageMaker), and data engineering tools.
- Strong background in NLP techniques and experience with transformer models.
- Experience building production‑grade ML pipelines and automating complex workflows.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and a passion for delivering high‑impact solutions in the insurance domain.
