Software Engineer
IT Engineer responsible for maintaining hospital IT infrastructure, including Windows servers, virtualization, network devices, and user support, ensuring reliable, secure operations for clinical and administrative staff.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and monitor Windows Server environments, including patching, backup, and performance tuning.
- Manage Active Directory objects, group policies, and authentication services for staff and clinical systems.
- Deploy, configure, and support VMware virtual machines and related storage solutions.
- Maintain Cisco networking equipment, troubleshoot LAN/WAN issues, and ensure network security compliance.
- Provide Tier‑2/3 technical support to end users, resolve incidents, and document solutions.
- Implement ITIL best practices for incident, change, and problem management.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Windows Server administration and Active Directory.
- Hands‑on experience with VMware vSphere or similar virtualization platforms.
- Proficiency with Cisco routers/switches and network troubleshooting tools.
- Strong scripting skills, preferably PowerShell, for automation tasks.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSA, VCP, CCNA) and familiarity with healthcare IT compliance standards.
