About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver onsite technical support to client sites, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Provide remote assistance via ticketing systems, ensuring timely resolution and high customer satisfaction.
- Assist clients in achieving and maintaining Cyber Essentials compliance, including patch management, MFA deployment, and access‑control hardening.
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows environments and Active Directory services.
- Document procedures, create knowledge‑base articles, and contribute to continuous improvement of support processes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a helpdesk or client‑facing IT support role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Active Directory, and common networking protocols.
- Hands‑on experience with security best practices, especially Cyber Essentials, patch management, and MFA solutions.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently on‑site and remotely.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+ or equivalent) are a plus.
