Devops Engineer
Lead end‑to‑end DevOps initiatives, designing and maintaining scalable CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, and cloud infrastructure on AWS, while ensuring high availability, security, and automation across the organization.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using modern tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins, ArgoCD) to support rapid, reliable software delivery.
- Build and manage containerized services with Docker and orchestrate them on Kubernetes clusters, ensuring high availability and efficient resource utilization.
- Provision and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, leveraging IaC tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation for repeatable, auditable deployments.
- Automate operational tasks with scripting (Python, Bash) and monitor system health using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.
- Collaborate with development, security, and QA teams to embed DevSecOps practices, enforce code quality, and conduct regular security assessments.
- Document processes, troubleshoot incidents, and continuously improve infrastructure resilience and performance.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role, with hands‑on expertise in CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
- Strong scripting skills in Python or Bash and familiarity with IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Solid understanding of networking, security best practices, and monitoring/alerting solutions.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and a proactive, collaborative mindset.
- Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus.
