About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze, test, and troubleshoot Windows desktop and laptop hardware and software issues.
- Validate and maintain Microsoft Defender XDR (Advanced Threat Protection) status across all endpoints.
- Manage PC patching cycles, ensuring compliance with security and update policies.
- Administer virtual desktop environments, including provisioning, performance monitoring, and user access.
- Serve as the lead engineer for the organization’s IP telephony platform, handling configuration, maintenance, and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with the CTO, IT team, and business units to deliver reliable desktop services and support initiatives.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Windows desktop support or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Defender XDR, patch management tools, and endpoint security.
- Hands‑on experience with virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) technologies.
- Proficiency in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting IP telephony systems.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a cross‑functional team.
