About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage secure network architectures and systems to protect critical cyber terrain.
- Conduct continuous vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and threat analysis to identify and mitigate risks.
- Implement and maintain defensive controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and encryption solutions.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop incident response plans and execute rapid containment and recovery actions.
- Provide expert guidance on cyber policy, compliance, and best practices for all networked systems.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in systems administration and network security within a high‑security environment.
- Proficiency with Windows, Linux, and network protocols; hands‑on experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM platforms.
- Strong knowledge of cyber threat intelligence, vulnerability management, and incident response frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CCNA Security) preferred.
