IT Cybersecurity Specialist SysAdmin/InfoSec - Defense Information Systems Agency

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure network and system architectures for high‑availability environments.
• Lead incident response activities, conduct forensic analysis, and coordinate remediation efforts.
• Perform risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing to identify and mitigate security gaps.
• Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and compliance controls aligned with federal regulations.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate security into DevOps and cloud deployment pipelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field; advanced certifications (CISSP, CISM, or equivalent) preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in systems administration and information security within a federal or enterprise environment.
• Proficiency with Windows/Linux administration, network security tools, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong knowledge of incident response frameworks, threat intelligence, and compliance standards (NIST, FedRAMP, FISMA).
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills with the ability to work independently and in a team.
