Security Engineer
Lead network and information security initiatives for US Cyber Command, ensuring robust protection of critical infrastructure through advanced threat analysis, incident response, and continuous security monitoring.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure network architectures to protect mission‑critical systems.
- Conduct threat intelligence analysis and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate risks.
- Lead incident response efforts, coordinating with cross‑functional teams to contain and remediate security events.
- Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures in alignment with DISA and US Cyber Command requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and training to internal stakeholders on best security practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in network and information security roles.
- Proficiency with security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls) and operating systems (Windows, Linux).
- Strong knowledge of DISA security controls and US Cyber Command operational environment.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
