IT Cybersecurity Specialist InfoSec - Recent Graduate - Defense Information Systems Agency

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the identification, analysis, and mitigation of cybersecurity threats across enterprise networks.
• Support the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and controls.
• Participate in incident response activities, including log analysis, forensic investigation, and remediation planning.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and help remediate findings in collaboration with IT teams.
• Maintain and update security documentation, including risk registers and compliance reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field within the last two years.
• Foundational knowledge of cybersecurity principles, threat modeling, and risk management.
• Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Willingness to participate in a structured career development program and continuous learning.
