About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive security assessments and vulnerability scans across Air National Guard networks and systems.
- Develop, implement, and maintain incident response plans, ensuring rapid containment and recovery of security incidents.
- Analyze security events, perform threat hunting, and provide actionable intelligence to mitigate emerging risks.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to enforce security policies, standards, and compliance requirements.
- Document security findings, produce detailed reports, and recommend improvements to enhance overall cyber resilience.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in information security or cybersecurity roles.
- Proficiency with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint protection.
- Strong knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001, and DoD cybersecurity frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- U.S. citizenship and willingness to serve in an Air National Guard capacity.
