About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of cybersecurity programs, ensuring alignment with organizational mission and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments, threat modeling, and vulnerability analyses to identify and mitigate security gaps.
- Design, implement, and maintain robust security architecture, including network segmentation, access controls, and encryption solutions.
- Oversee incident response activities, coordinating cross‑functional teams to investigate, contain, and remediate security incidents.
- Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures, ensuring compliance with federal and industry regulations.
- Provide expert guidance to stakeholders on emerging threats, technology trends, and best practices in cybersecurity.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field; advanced certifications (CISSP, CISM, or equivalent) preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity roles, with a focus on risk management, incident response, and security architecture.
- Deep knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, FedRAMP) and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in threat intelligence, vulnerability management tools, and security monitoring platforms.
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
