About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and continuously improve the organization’s cybersecurity program across systems, networks, applications, and cloud infrastructure.
- Lead incident response efforts, coordinating with internal teams and external SOC/MSSP providers to contain and remediate threats.
- Enhance detection capabilities through advanced analytics, threat intelligence, and AI‑assisted security tools.
- Manage a small security team, providing mentorship, setting objectives, and fostering a proactive security culture.
- Oversee relationships with security vendors, ensuring timely delivery of services and alignment with business objectives.
Requirements
- Proven experience in cybersecurity leadership, incident response, and threat detection.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices and experience managing SOC/MSSP engagements.
- Hands‑on expertise with security operations, vulnerability management, and AI‑assisted security solutions.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, or equivalent) preferred.
