IT Business Systems Analyst who bridges business, IT, and vendors, optimizing enterprise applications like Power BI, Microsoft 365, Procore, and AI‑enabled tools while driving process improvements and data‑driven decision making.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary liaison between business units, IT, and external vendors to define, document, and prioritize functional requirements.
- Lead process‑mapping and improvement initiatives across departments, ensuring alignment with enterprise applications such as Vista/Trimble, Procore, Monday.com, and BambooHR.
- Own the configuration, maintenance, and continuous enhancement of reporting solutions in Power BI and Microsoft 365, delivering actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Evaluate, pilot, and integrate AI‑powered tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) to automate workflows and increase operational efficiency.
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee third‑party implementations to meet business objectives.
- Support project planning, testing, and rollout activities, providing training and post‑implementation support to end users.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role, preferably in construction, engineering, or related industries.
- Proven expertise in process analysis, requirements gathering, and translating business needs into technical specifications.
- Strong hands‑on experience with Power BI, Microsoft 365 suite, and at least two enterprise platforms (e.g., Procore, Monday.com, Vista/Trimble).
- Demonstrated ability to work with AI/automation tools and drive adoption across teams.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and vendor negotiation skills.
