Software Engineer
Senior analyst bridging IT and business to design, implement, and enhance enterprise systems using Agile practices, SQL, and UML, driving process improvements and stakeholder alignment.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams to elicit, document, and validate functional and non‑functional requirements for new and existing systems.
- Translate business needs into detailed specifications, use cases, and process models using UML and other diagramming tools.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations to ensure solutions meet business objectives, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Lead user acceptance testing, facilitate training sessions, and provide post‑implementation support to maximize system adoption.
- Identify opportunities for process automation and system integration, recommending best‑practice solutions and cost‑effective enhancements.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role in a complex enterprise environment.
- Proficient in Agile/Scrum methodologies, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within scope.
- Strong analytical skills, with expertise in SQL, data modeling, and process mapping.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, capable of translating technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
- Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) or customer relationship management (CRM) systems is a plus.
