IT Business Analyst experienced in business process analysis and modern Microsoft cloud solutions, driving requirements, design, and reporting for enterprise IT initiatives within a federal agency environment.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritize business and functional requirements for IT projects supporting the National Park Service.
- Analyze existing processes, identify improvement opportunities, and design optimized workflows using SharePoint Online, Power Platform, and Azure services.
- Develop and maintain project plans in Microsoft Project Online, ensuring alignment with timelines, resources, and deliverables.
- Create interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI to provide actionable insights to leadership and operational teams.
- Facilitate user acceptance testing, training, and change management activities across Microsoft Teams and related collaboration tools.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in an IT or federal environment, with a focus on process analysis and improvement.
- Proficiency with Microsoft cloud technologies: SharePoint Online, Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate), Azure, Power BI, and Microsoft Teams.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills, capable of translating business needs into technical specifications.
- Experience managing projects using Microsoft Project Online and delivering clear status reporting.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross‑functional teams to drive solutions from concept to production.
