Software Engineer
Provide application development, support, and system analysis for law‑enforcement information systems, ensuring CJIS compliance and reliable service delivery using SQL, Java, C# and ITIL best practices.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, and maintain mission‑critical applications supporting law‑enforcement and public safety operations.
- Provide Tier‑2/3 technical support, troubleshooting, and incident resolution for CJIS‑compliant systems.
- Develop and modify code in Java and C# to implement enhancements, bug fixes, and integrations.
- Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database scripts to ensure data integrity and performance.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define requirements, create technical documentation, and enforce ITIL change‑management processes.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in application analysis, development, or support for government or law‑enforcement environments.
- Proficiency in SQL, Java, and C# programming languages.
- Strong understanding of CJIS security policies and ITIL service‑management frameworks.
- Experience with system integration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
