Senior engineer responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining Linux‑based application infrastructure, leveraging cloud platforms, automation tools, and scripting to ensure high availability and performance.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage Linux application infrastructure across on‑premise and cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
- Automate deployment, configuration, and scaling using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor system health, troubleshoot performance issues, and optimize resource utilization.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate new applications and services into the infrastructure.
- Document architecture, processes, and best practices for knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Linux system administration and application infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure) and networking concepts.
- Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python) and automation frameworks (Ansible, Terraform).
- Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) and incident response.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
