Software Engineer
Lead the strategy, architecture, and delivery of Citi’s Investor Services Workbench, driving modern microservices, cloud-native solutions, and continuous delivery pipelines to unify client and business activity management across Investor Services products.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the technical vision for the Investor Services Workbench, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements.
- Architect and oversee the development of scalable, cloud-native microservices using Python and Node.js, deployed on AWS with Kubernetes orchestration.
- Lead cross‑functional teams in Agile environments, driving iterative delivery, automated testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Collaborate with product, security, and operations stakeholders to ensure high availability, performance, and compliance of the platform.
- Mentor and grow a high‑performing engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, quality, and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise software development, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
- Proven expertise in designing and delivering cloud‑native microservices on AWS, using Kubernetes and CI/CD tools.
- Strong background in Python and Node.js development, with a track record of building high‑throughput, fault‑tolerant systems.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders across all levels.
- Experience in the financial services industry, particularly in investor services or custody, is highly desirable.
