Responsibilities
• Prepare more complex daily reconciliations, along with research and follow up on outstanding items• Analyze reconciling items to provide clearing recommendations• Complete daily MSP balancing report• Analyze and record appropriate debit and credit adjustments in LoanCare ’s system of record• Ensure all incoming wires and ach transactional detail is submitted to appropriate departments for clearing• Provide weekly aging reports to appropriate departments for clearing• Adhere to established procedures for compliance and efficiency to reduce outstanding items• Responsible for the identification, accounting and reporting of information related to the reconciliations performed• All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
• High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is preferred.• 2-5 years reconciliation experience required• Experience with MSP, or other mortgage platforms preferred• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills• Strong time management• Ability to multi-task and prioritize• Flexible and able to adapt to frequently changing processes and procedures• Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Must maintain strict confidentiality
