About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and optimize the internal VMware environment, including resource allocation, performance monitoring, and capacity planning.
- Manage Windows Server infrastructure, applying patches, updates, and ensuring high availability.
- Utilize PowerShell scripts to automate routine tasks, generate reports, and streamline support workflows.
- Collaborate with IT Support Engineers I and II to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues for end users.
- Implement ITIL best practices for incident, problem, and change management.
- Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to plan and execute technology upgrades and new solution deployments.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise IT support with a focus on virtualization and Windows Server environments.
- Proficient in VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter administration.
- Strong scripting skills in PowerShell and experience with Active Directory management.
- Solid understanding of ITIL processes and documentation.
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities, with a customer‑centric approach.
