Key Responsibilities
- Server & Web Support: Assist in managing Linux (Ubuntu) servers, Nginx web servers, and MySQL databases.
- AWS Cloud Assistance: Help maintain basic AWS services (EC2, S3, Security Groups, Load Balancers).
- Code & Deployments: Use Git for code management and assist with basic deployment pipelines (GitHub Actions/Jenkins).
- System Monitoring: Assist in checking server uptime and application logs using Grafana and CloudWatch.
- Documentation: Keep infrastructure records and step-by-step guides up to date.
Candidate RequirementsMandatory Skills
- Linux (Ubuntu): Comfortable with command-line commands and basic troubleshooting.
- AWS Basics: Understanding of EC2, S3, and Security Groups.
- Web Hosting: Basic knowledge of Nginx and hosting PHP applications.
- Databases: Basic MySQL knowledge (running basic queries).
- Git: Hands-on experience with branching, pushing, and pull requests.
Good-to-Have Skills
- Basic knowledge of Docker/containers.
- Exposure to monitoring tools like Grafana or CloudWatch.
- Basic Shell or Python scripting.
