Software Engineer
Lead bridge design and construction projects, applying advanced structural analysis, CAD/BIM tools, and project management to deliver safe, efficient infrastructure solutions across Western Canada.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and review bridge design calculations, ensuring compliance with national and provincial standards.
- Prepare detailed CAD and BIM models, integrating structural, geotechnical, and environmental data.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and regulatory bodies to manage project schedules and budgets.
- Conduct site inspections, supervise construction activities, and verify quality control against design specifications.
- Mentor junior engineers and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of bridge design and construction experience, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS).
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem‑solving skills.
- Valid professional engineering license in Canada (or eligibility to obtain).
