Intermediate full‑stack engineer responsible for developing, modernizing, and maintaining enterprise web applications and their databases, ensuring compliance with government security standards and supporting continuous delivery.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance full‑stack web applications using Java and JavaScript frameworks.
- Administer, tune, and maintain relational databases (SQL/Oracle) supporting mission‑critical systems.
- Implement and consume RESTful APIs, ensuring secure data exchange and integration with other government services.
- Perform code reviews, unit testing, and automated testing to meet quality and security requirements.
- Document architecture, configuration, and operational procedures; provide troubleshooting support for production issues.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in full‑stack development with Java and modern JavaScript (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue).
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Oracle database administration, including performance tuning and backup/recovery.
- Hands‑on experience with REST API design, authentication mechanisms, and secure coding practices.
- Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines in a regulated environment.
- Ability to work onsite, collaborate with government task leads, and adhere to strict security and compliance standards.
