Lead a national program overseeing the design, engineering, and architecture of wildland fire facilities and infrastructure, ensuring safety, compliance, and operational excellence across the National Interagency Fire Center.

Key Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate the engineering or architectural design of wildland fire facilities, ensuring compliance with federal standards and operational requirements.
- Manage a multidisciplinary team, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluation.
- Develop and oversee project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation for national infrastructure initiatives.
- Collaborate with federal, state, and local partners to integrate fire management strategies into facility design.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts, incorporating emerging technologies and best practices into program operations.
Requirements
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field with significant professional experience.
- Proven leadership in large-scale infrastructure projects, preferably within fire or environmental agencies.
- Strong knowledge of wildland fire facility design standards and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and program management skills.
- Ability to travel as needed to project sites and partner agencies.
