Systems Engineer
Develop and maintain integration solutions for financial operations, focusing on Oracle SOA Suite, BPEL workflows, WebMethods, and EDI/X12 messaging while implementing SOAP and REST services and SQL/PLSQL database logic.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy Oracle SOA composites, including BPEL processes, JCA adapters, and Enterprise Scheduler Service jobs.
- Implement and support integration flows using WebMethods and EDI X12 (4010 810 & 820) standards.
- Build and consume SOAP and RESTful web services to connect ERP, financial, and third‑party systems.
- Write, optimize, and maintain SQL and PL/SQL code for data extraction, transformation, and loading across integrated applications.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to troubleshoot integration issues and ensure reliable end‑to‑end transaction processing.
Requirements
- 2+ years of hands‑on experience developing integration solutions with Oracle SOA Suite (preferably 12c).
- Proficiency in BPEL workflow design and execution.
- Experience with WebMethods and EDI X12 transaction sets.
- Strong knowledge of SOAP and REST web service standards.
- Solid SQL and PL/SQL development skills, with the ability to write efficient database scripts.
