Implementation Engineer
Back‑end Integration Engineer to design, develop, and maintain high‑performance interfaces for a major banking client, leveraging Java, REST/SOAP services, SQL databases, and containerization.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain back‑end integration solutions connecting core banking systems with external services.
- Implement and support RESTful and SOAP APIs, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Perform data mapping, transformation, and persistence using relational databases (SQL).
- Containerize integration components with Docker and support CI/CD pipelines for rapid deployment.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Java back‑end development and API integration.
- Strong knowledge of REST and SOAP web services, including authentication and error handling.
- Proficiency with SQL databases and data modeling.
- Hands‑on experience with Docker (or similar container technologies) and modern DevOps practices.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a client‑facing consulting environment.
