Embedded Systems Engineer
Design, install, and maintain instrumentation and SCADA solutions for agro‑chemical processes, ensuring safety, compliance, and cost‑effective operation while supporting budgeting and continuous improvement initiatives.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and supervise instrumentation installation and preventive maintenance activities across the plant.
- Develop, configure, and troubleshoot SCADA and HMI applications to ensure reliable real‑time monitoring and control.
- Collaborate with the senior instrumentation manager to prepare and manage budgets for equipment, spares, and projects.
- Ensure all work complies with statutory regulations, industry standards, and internal safety procedures.
- Provide technical support for PLC programming, control loops, and field device calibration.
- Document as‑built drawings, maintenance records, and deviation reports using standard engineering tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, or related engineering discipline.
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience with PLCs, SCADA/HMI platforms, and industrial instrumentation.
- Proficiency in control system design, wiring, and calibration of sensors and actuators.
- Strong knowledge of safety standards, regulatory compliance, and budgeting processes.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
