Systems Engineer
Lead the design and architecture of reflectometry systems, driving product vision and technical excellence across embedded and software layers using Python, C++, Linux, and RTOS environments.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and evolve the overall architecture for reflectometry products, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to decompose complex systems into manageable subsystems and define clear interfaces.
- Lead technical reviews, code quality assessments, and design discussions, providing mentorship to junior engineers.
- Implement embedded firmware and software components in C++ on Linux/RTOS platforms, integrating with test and monitoring tools.
- Drive continuous improvement of development processes, tooling, and documentation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in embedded systems engineering with strong C++ and Linux skills.
- Proven track record designing and delivering complex hardware‑software integrated products.
- Experience with RTOS, version control (Git), and Agile development practices.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and leadership abilities.
