Systems Engineer
Lead the design and integration of digital payload systems for advanced telecommunications and aerospace projects, leveraging embedded C/C++ and RTOS expertise to deliver high‑reliability, high‑performance solutions.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and develop firmware for digital payload subsystems, ensuring compliance with aerospace and telecom standards.
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate FPGA, ASIC, and sensor interfaces into mission‑critical payloads.
- Lead design reviews, performance validation, and troubleshooting of complex embedded systems.
- Implement real‑time operating system (RTOS) solutions, optimizing for latency, throughput, and fault tolerance.
- Document design decisions, create technical specifications, and support certification processes.
Requirements
- Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in embedded systems development for aerospace or telecom payloads.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and RTOS (e.g., VxWorks, FreeRTOS, QNX).
- Strong knowledge of digital signal processing, communication protocols (CAN, SPI, I²C, Ethernet), and hardware‑software co‑design.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, with a track record of delivering high‑reliability solutions under tight schedules.
