About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain safety‑critical control‑system software in C++ for aerospace applications.
- Apply DO‑178C processes to produce certification artifacts, including plans, reviews, and compliance evidence.
- Perform software verification activities such as unit testing, integration testing, and static analysis to meet stringent safety objectives.
- Collaborate with system engineers and hardware teams to ensure seamless integration of software with control hardware.
- Utilize model‑based design tools (e.g., Simulink, SCADE) to generate and validate code against system requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience developing embedded software for safety‑critical systems, preferably in the aerospace domain.
- Strong knowledge of DO‑178C certification processes and ability to produce compliant documentation.
- Proficiency in C++ and familiarity with real‑time operating systems and hardware‑in‑the‑loop testing.
- Experience with model‑based design, static analysis tools, and software verification techniques.
