Software Engineer
DevOps Engineer focused on middleware and cloud-native architectures, leading lifecycle management and automation of enterprise middleware products on Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS, leveraging GitOps practices to drive continuous delivery and operational excellence.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain middleware solutions on Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS (ROSA) across multiple environments.
- Implement GitOps workflows to automate application delivery, configuration management, and infrastructure provisioning.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines, ensuring rapid, reliable releases.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize middleware performance, scalability, and security.
- Document processes, best practices, and runbooks for operational continuity.
Requirements
- 5+ years of DevOps experience with a strong focus on middleware and cloud-native platforms.
- Proficiency in Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, and AWS services (EKS, S3, IAM).
- Hands‑on experience with GitOps tools (ArgoCD, Flux) and CI/CD systems (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Solid scripting skills in Bash, Python, or similar for automation.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration abilities.
