Lead Infrastructure Engineer driving the Payment Cards Value Stream, architecting scalable cloud platforms, automating deployments, and ensuring secure, high‑availability services using Python, AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, implement, and maintain highly available, secure cloud infrastructure for payment card services across AWS.
- Lead a cross‑functional team in designing and deploying scalable Kubernetes clusters, Docker containers, and Terraform‑managed resources.
- Develop and enforce CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment strategies to accelerate release cycles.
- Collaborate with security, compliance, and operations teams to implement best practices and ensure regulatory adherence.
- Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- 5+ years of senior infrastructure engineering experience, preferably in payment or financial services.
- Proficiency in Python, AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC), Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins, ArgoCD) and automated testing frameworks.
- Experience with network security, encryption, and compliance standards (PCI‑DSS, ISO 27001).
- Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to lead technical teams.
