Infrastructure Engineer responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud and on‑premise environments using AWS, Terraform, Ansible, and Python automation to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable services.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, including networking, compute, and storage resources.
- Automate provisioning and configuration using Terraform and Ansible to support continuous delivery pipelines.
- Develop and maintain Python scripts and tools for monitoring, alerting, and routine operational tasks.
- Collaborate with development and security teams to enforce best practices, hardening, and compliance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure incidents, performing root‑cause analysis and post‑mortem documentation.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience managing Linux‑based systems in production environments.
- Strong hands‑on experience with AWS services (EC2, VPC, RDS, S3, IAM).
- Proficiency in infrastructure‑as‑code tools, especially Terraform and Ansible.
- Solid scripting skills in Python for automation and tooling.
- Understanding of networking, security, and monitoring concepts in cloud and hybrid environments.
