Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud and on‑prem infrastructure for the UK’s digital records platform.
- Automate deployment pipelines using IaC tools and scripting languages to accelerate delivery and reduce errors.
- Implement robust monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to ensure 99.9% uptime and rapid incident response.
- Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to enforce best practices and compliance standards.
- Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance performance, security, and cost efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing Linux-based infrastructure in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash) and familiarity with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible).
- Hands‑on experience with monitoring and observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
- Solid understanding of networking, security, and high‑availability architectures.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
