About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain high‑availability infrastructure for API Gateway and related services across multiple business units.
- Implement and manage monitoring, alerting, and incident response workflows to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to optimize performance, security, and cost of cloud and on‑prem resources.
- Automate provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Lead root‑cause analysis and post‑mortem activities for production incidents, driving continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering or operations in a large enterprise environment.
- Proficiency with AWS services (EC2, RDS, VPC, CloudWatch) and Linux system administration.
- Strong knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog) and alerting best practices.
- Hands‑on experience with IaC and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in an agile, collaborative setting.
