Mid‑level Infrastructure Engineer responsible for designing, automating, and operating cloud‑native platforms on AWS, leveraging Python, Terraform, and Kubernetes to support high‑throughput rocket manufacturing and launch operations.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable AWS infrastructure supporting rocket production and launch workflows.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure‑as‑code using Terraform and automate deployments with CI/CD pipelines.
- Implement and operate container orchestration with Kubernetes for mission‑critical applications.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents, and ensure high availability and security compliance.
- Collaborate with software, hardware, and operations teams to integrate infrastructure solutions into the end‑to‑end launch process.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience managing production‑grade cloud environments, preferably on AWS.
- Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation tasks.
- Hands‑on experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Strong Linux system administration skills and understanding of networking, security, and monitoring.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment and solve novel engineering challenges.
