Devops Engineer
Mid‑level Infrastructure Engineer responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining secure, scalable enterprise environments across classified and unclassified networks, leveraging virtualization, cloud services, automation, and emerging AI infrastructure.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain virtualized and cloud‑based infrastructure (VMware, AWS) for both classified and unclassified workloads.
- Automate provisioning, configuration, and patch management using Ansible and Python scripts.
- Manage networking, storage, and security controls to ensure compliance with DoD and federal standards.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to integrate hardening measures and monitor for threats.
- Support emerging AI/ML workloads by provisioning GPU‑enabled resources and optimizing performance.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph.
- 3+ years of experience in systems administration (Linux and Windows Server) and virtualization technologies.
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS) and infrastructure‑as‑code tools (Ansible, Python).
- Strong understanding of networking, storage, and security best practices in a high‑security environment.
- Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills, with the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.
