Devops Engineer
Infrastructure Engineer responsible for operating and modernising a cloud‑first hybrid environment, handling on‑prem and cloud platforms, migration projects, resilience, security and disaster‑recovery using AWS, Azure, Linux and IaC tools.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 24/7 support for on‑premises and cloud infrastructure, diagnosing and resolving incidents and service requests.
- Design, implement and maintain infrastructure‑as‑code solutions using Terraform and Ansible across AWS and Azure environments.
- Lead migration initiatives, moving workloads from legacy data‑centres to cloud platforms while ensuring minimal disruption.
- Implement and monitor resilience, security hardening, and business‑continuity measures, including disaster‑recovery testing.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to modernise services, adopt container orchestration (Kubernetes) and improve operational excellence through automation and monitoring.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience managing hybrid infrastructure with strong Linux administration skills.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS and/or Azure services, including networking, compute, and storage.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools such as Terraform and configuration management tools like Ansible.
- Knowledge of container platforms (Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
- Solid understanding of security best practices, disaster‑recovery planning, and monitoring solutions.
