Infrastructure Engineer - British Business Bank plc

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage hybrid cloud and on‑prem infrastructure across multiple regions.
• Automate provisioning and configuration using tools such as Ansible and Terraform to ensure repeatable, auditable deployments.
• Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) to guarantee service reliability.
• Collaborate with development and security teams to enforce best practices, harden systems, and respond to incidents.
• Participate in capacity planning, performance tuning, and cost optimisation initiatives.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing Linux‑based infrastructure at scale.
• Hands‑on expertise with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and hybrid deployment models.
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash) and familiarity with IaC tools.
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and compliance standards.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
