About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage Linux and Windows server environments across on‑premise data centers and AWS cloud.
- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Cisco networking equipment, VLANs, and routing protocols.
- Implement and maintain VMware virtualization platforms, including vSphere, vCenter, and NSX.
- Administer enterprise storage solutions (SAN/NAS), ensuring capacity planning, performance tuning, and data protection.
- Develop automation scripts using PowerShell and Python to streamline provisioning, patching, and incident response.
- Collaborate with application and security teams to enforce best practices, compliance, and disaster‑recovery procedures.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in systems, network, or storage engineering within a large‑scale environment.
- Strong hands‑on knowledge of Linux/Windows server administration and VMware virtualization.
- Proficiency with Cisco networking hardware and concepts (routing, switching, firewalls).
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and infrastructure‑as‑code tools.
- Solid scripting abilities in PowerShell and Python for automation and monitoring.
