Lead a high‑performing offshore team to design, implement, and maintain automated patch management solutions across hybrid cloud environments using VPM, Ansible, PowerShell, Azure, and AWS.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the offshore pod in architecting and delivering end‑to‑end VPM patch management automation across on‑prem and cloud infrastructures.
- Design and maintain Ansible playbooks, PowerShell scripts, and CI/CD pipelines to streamline patch deployment, validation, and reporting.
- Collaborate with security, operations, and platform teams to ensure compliance, minimize downtime, and meet SLA targets.
- Mentor and coach team members, fostering continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
- Drive process improvements, tooling upgrades, and best‑practice adoption for scalable automation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure automation and patch management.
- Proficiency with VPM, Ansible, PowerShell, Azure, and AWS environments.
- Strong scripting and CI/CD pipeline development skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities in a distributed team setting.
- Experience with compliance frameworks and security patching best practices.
