Security Engineer
Design, implement, and secure high‑performance cloud infrastructure for production and development environments, leveraging AWS, Linux, Terraform, and modern CI/CD pipelines.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, deploy, and maintain scalable AWS infrastructure supporting multiple environments.
- Implement infrastructure‑as‑code using Terraform to ensure repeatable, version‑controlled deployments.
- Configure and manage Linux servers, networking, and storage to meet performance and reliability targets.
- Design and enforce security controls, including firewalls, VPNs, IAM policies, and vulnerability remediation.
- Integrate monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to provide end‑to‑end visibility and rapid incident response.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to automate CI/CD pipelines and streamline release processes.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience managing AWS cloud environments and Linux systems.
- Proficiency with Terraform or similar IaC tools.
- Strong understanding of network security concepts, firewalls, VPNs, and IAM.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
- Familiarity with monitoring platforms (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana) and incident‑response best practices.
