Senior Infrastructure & Security Engineer leading the design, optimisation and protection of hybrid cloud and on‑prem environments using AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform and advanced network security practices.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain scalable, resilient hybrid infrastructure across AWS, Azure and on‑prem data centres.
- Implement and manage Kubernetes clusters, ensuring high availability and secure deployment pipelines.
- Design and enforce network security policies, firewalls, VPNs and zero‑trust architectures.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform, CI/CD and GitOps workflows.
- Lead incident response, vulnerability management and continuous compliance monitoring.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate security controls into new services and deployments.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering with a strong security focus.
- Proven expertise in AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform and Linux system administration.
- Deep knowledge of network security, firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS and zero‑trust principles.
- Hands‑on experience with CI/CD, GitOps, and automated security scanning tools.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to mentor junior engineers.
