Embedded Systems Engineer
Experienced Infrastructure & Hardware Engineer responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining on‑premise and cloud environments, integrating Azure AD with Active Directory, managing VMware virtualization, networking, security, and OT/SCADA systems.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage on‑premise Active Directory and Azure AD, including hybrid identity solutions.
- Deploy, configure, and maintain VMware virtual infrastructure to support enterprise workloads.
- Administer networking components, firewalls, and VPNs to ensure reliable, secure connectivity across sites.
- Implement security controls, vulnerability remediation, and patch management for Windows and Linux servers.
- Manage operational technology environments, including SCADA and other OT systems, ensuring integration with IT security policies.
- Monitor system performance, conduct capacity planning, and provide 24/7 incident response for critical infrastructure.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering with strong expertise in Azure AD, Active Directory, and VMware.
- Hands‑on experience with networking protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and security best practices.
- Proven ability to manage patching and vulnerability remediation for both Windows and Linux platforms.
- Experience working with OT environments, particularly SCADA systems, and integrating them with corporate IT.
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell or Bash) and familiarity with automation tools.
