About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage Windows Server and Linux-based infrastructure, including virtualization, storage, and networking components.
- Configure and maintain Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and group policy objects to support enterprise authentication and authorization.
- Automate routine tasks and deployments using PowerShell, Bash, and configuration management tools.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and apply patches and updates to keep environments secure and compliant.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support application deployments, disaster recovery planning, and capacity forecasting.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in systems administration for enterprise environments.
- Proficiency with Windows Server (2012/2016/2019) and Linux distributions (RHEL/CentOS, Ubuntu).
- Strong scripting skills in PowerShell and Bash.
- Experience with networking fundamentals, VPNs, firewalls, and load balancing.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper‑V).
