Information Technology Specialist Security - Air Education and Training Command

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the organization’s cybersecurity program, ensuring alignment with mission objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Develop, implement, and maintain a Risk Management Framework (RMF) to assess, authorize, and monitor information systems.
• Drive change management processes for security initiatives, coordinating with stakeholders to minimize disruption and maximize adoption.
• Provide senior‑level program analysis and management, preparing status reports, risk assessments, and mitigation plans for executive leadership.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate security controls into system development life cycles and operational environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or related field with 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity program management.
• Demonstrated expertise in Risk Management Framework (RMF) and related security control implementation.
• Proven experience managing change initiatives within complex IT environments.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, capable of presenting technical findings to senior leadership.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ preferred.
